About Me

Over the years I have treated people for many different conditions and even today, I am amazed at the results that can be achieved through hypnotherapy. I like to keep my sessions simple and effective, and I believe my prices are very reasonable. I always work to a strict code of ethics, am fully insured and above all, if I genuinely believe I can’t help you, I will always tell you.

Even as a child I have always been fascinated by Hypnotherapy but it was not until my later years that I really came to study it and realise the difference between stage hypnosis and actual Hypnotherapy; the difference is in the word ‘therapy’.

I came to study Hypnotherapy after traumatic events in my life caused me to suffer from severe depression and anxiety. Even losing my job because I was so ill.

After this I decided, with the help of my family, that I wanted everything back that I had lost due to being so ill and started this journey by doing voluntary work at an animal refuge. It took me 18 months of this voluntary work to get back to any form of normality.

When I started to feel better I felt ready to move on to the next stage of my recovery and took a three year course at the widely accredited Belmont college of Hypnotherapy where I gained a top level Diploma in Hypnotherapy and life coaching.

I then went on to study Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Mindfulness. When treating clients I combine different techniques from what I have learnt over the years, all focussed on the what is best suited to each client.

I understand that everyone is different and needs to be treated as an individual. When treating my clients I do so with a passion, I listen to what you tell me and what you want and then formulate a plan that takes you forward to your ultimate goal. Whether this is weight loss, smoking cessation or the eradication of phobias, fears, addiction, anxiety or depression my focus is on my clients all the time.
